Arbitrum welcomes new opportunities for long-term development through the 45.815 million ARB ecological incentive program.
The Arbitrum long-term incentive pilot program has been approved, with 45.815 million ARB allocated for ecosystem development.
Recently, the Arbitrum community voted on a long-term incentive pilot program. The final result showed that the proposal to allocate 45.815 million ARB won with a support rate of 57.49%. Of this, 45 million ARB will be used for incentives, and 815,000 ARB will be used to subsidize participants involved in various tasks.

The previous Short-Term Incentive Program (STIP) was considered to have achieved good results. Data shows that various protocols participating in STIP have seen significant growth in active daily users, total locked value, and trading volume. For example, decentralized exchanges experienced a 118.72% increase in daily active users, a 49.24% rise in total locked value, and a staggering 333.28% surge in trading volume.
The new pilot program has made several improvements based on STIP. Firstly, the use of ARB incentives will be more flexible, encouraging the protocol to explore diversified incentive schemes. Secondly, a committee of five members has been introduced to conduct preliminary assessments of the applicant projects. Additionally, an application advisor role has been established to provide detailed feedback and guidance to applicants.
The application process is divided into 5 stages: application period (2 weeks), feedback period (2 weeks), screening period (1 week), voting period (1 week), and incentive period (12 weeks). Approved agreements will receive ARB allocations every two weeks through a specific platform within the 12 weeks.
In addition to the 45 million ARB used for incentives, 815,000 ARB will be allocated to members participating in the work, including committee members, application consultants, researchers, data analysis providers, project managers, and others. Among them, the total research bounty is 200,000 ARB, aimed at helping the DAO draw meaningful conclusions from the incentive program.
It is worth noting that although the community vote has passed, on-chain voting is still needed to finally confirm the fund allocation. The implementation of this incentive program is expected to bring new development opportunities to the Arbitrum ecosystem.
