What Is Gate Alpha?

Gate Alpha is an integrated on-chain asset trading platform launched by Gate, designed to offer users an efficient, secure, and seamless blockchain asset trading experience. The platform supports several leading public blockchains, including Solana, BSC, Base, Ethereum, and World, and covers all trending on-chain tokens.

Gate Alpha eliminates traditional Web3 trading’s technical barriers by allowing users to access popular on-chain asset investments directly through the centralized exchange (CEX)—without the need to set up a Web3 wallet. The platform combines real-time market data, token risk assessments, and in-depth analytics, to help users make rapid, informed decisions and capture investment opportunities ahead of the curve.

Gate Alpha Points System Officially Launched

To further drive ecosystem growth and enhance user engagement, Gate Alpha officially rolled out the “Alpha Points System” on July 29, 2025. This system is now the primary metric for evaluating user participation in Token Generation Events (TGEs), Alpha Airdrops, and other ecosystem benefits.

How to Trade on Gate Alpha

1. Ensure Your Spot Account Has Enough Funds
   Gate Alpha tokens are currently available for purchase exclusively with USDT, sourced directly from your Spot Account. Please confirm your Spot Account has sufficient USDT before trading.
2. Select Your Token and Review Key Details
   Before placing an order, carefully review the token’s safety and inspection information to identify any potential security risks. The platform provides comprehensive analytics, including token holder address distribution, capital flows, and data on the top 70 buyers. This information is provided to help users make informed investment decisions.
3. Choose Trading Method and Place Your Order
   Gate Alpha supports both limit and market orders. Select your preferred order type and enter the trade amount. After entering the trade amount, the system estimates the number of tokens you will receive. By default, Smart Mode (prioritizing price and order success) is enabled at order placement, but you can also set slippage manually.
4. Check Open Orders and Positions
   After you place an order, market orders typically execute immediately, while limit orders execute once the market price hits your set value. You can view or cancel unfilled limit orders in the order list. Completed orders appear in My Positions or Assets – Alpha.
5. Sell Alpha Tokens
   The USDT proceeds will be automatically credited to your Spot Account. No manual action is required.
